Qualifications

• GA bar required.
• Excellent legal research, writing and verbal skills.
• Experience drafting initial pleadings, motions to dismiss, discovery and related court filings.

Responsibilities

• Touch on a wide variety of matters including commercial, civil, business and quasi-government litigation.
• Prepare and respond to pleadings, motions and discovery, and other trial-related filings.
• Learn additional areas of law while receiving Managing Partner mentorship.

Unique Litigation Associate opportunity with a well-rounded, down-to-earth law firm and great Managing Partner mentorship. Our client is looking to add an Associate to touch on a wide-variety of matters to include, but not limited to: commercial, civil, business and quasi government litigation, etc. Great opportunity to get your foot in the door and learn additional areas of law! This is a primarily defense firm with work/life balance. Well known and reputable with Partners having served for past government positions.

Additional:

• Must be barred in GA
• Excellent legal research, investigation, writing, and verbal skills are also required
• Previous experience preparing and responding to initial pleadings, motions to dismiss, demands, discovery, motions for summary judgment, and other trial-related court filings
