Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a junior to mid-level associate in San Francisco with 2–4 years of experience in litigation or enforcement within financial services. The role involves advising clients on regulatory risk and strategy in a Fintech and Financial Advisory practice.

You will manage discovery, draft pleadings, and support negotiations with government authorities, including depositions and witness preparation. A Juris Doctorate and CA State Bar membership are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage all stages of litigation discovery and responses to subpoenas and CIVIL INVESTIGATIVE DEMANDS.
• Prepare client advocacy materials for negotiations with enforcement attorneys.
• Participate in witness interviews, client interviews, and depositions with preparation.
• Draft memoranda, correspondence, motions, briefs, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
• Develop litigation and settlement strategies for federal and state cases.
• Conduct legal research on federal and state consumer financial services laws and regulations.
• Communicate strategy and regulatory risk with clients and senior attorneys.

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior to mid-level associate with 2-4 years of experience to join their Fintech and Financial Advisory practice in San Francisco, CA. This role involves assisting clients in the financial services industry with litigation, government investigations, and enforcement matters.

Duties

• Manage all stages of litigation discovery and responses to government subpoenas and civil investigative demands.
• Assist with preparations for negotiations with government enforcement attorneys and prepare client advocacy materials.
• Participate in witness and client interviews and depositions, including preparation.
• Prepare legal memoranda, correspondence, reports, motions, briefs, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
• Develop litigation and settlement strategies for cases in federal and state court.
