Job summary

Talent Traction is seeking an Lithium-Ion Design Engineering Manager to lead a team of design engineers building lithium-ion power products for military applications. You will guide the group from initial design through to a manufacturable outcome within the existing production environment.

The role requires setting technical direction, removing blockers, and ensuring design-for-manufacturability standards while traveling domestically for trade shows and customer meetings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering or product development experience in a design-to-manufacturing environment.
• Experience with lithium-ion battery or power system products.
• Prior experience managing or leading a team of engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design engineers from concept to manufacturability and handoff to production.

Job Overview

As the Lithium-Ion Design Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of design engineers building lithium-ion power products for military applications. Your primary mission is to guide the team from initial product design through to a manufacturable outcome within the existing production environment. You will set technical direction, remove blockers, and keep the team aligned on design-for-manufacturability standards.

You will also represent the engineering function externally, traveling domestically to trade shows and customer meetings as needed. You will work on-site alongside your team every day, driving accountability and hands-on collaboration from concept through production handoff.
