Job summary

Lithium Americas Corp. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee our Lithium Carbonate Process Plant in Winnemucca, Nevada. In this role, you will lead daily operations, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in mineral processing and prior supervisory experience. The position offers a collaborative work environment focused on innovation and sustainability in the clean energy sector.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in mineral processing or chemical manufacturing.
• 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory position.
• Strong technical knowledge of equipment and unit operations in a chemical manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient operation of mineral processing plant.
• Support commissioning, start-up, and steady-state operations.
• Manage shift rosters and coordinate production activities.

Skills

5+ years’ experience in mineral processing or chemical manufacturing

2+ years’ experience in a supervisory position

Strong technical knowledge of equipment and unit operations

Proficiency with plant control systems (DCS)

Proven leadership skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work a rotating shift schedule

Commitment to safety and environmental compliance
