Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America in Sparks, NV is seeking a Machine Operator I to operate lithium-ion battery production machines in a clean environment. You will start and run machines, monitor quality, record shift logs, and collaborate with maintenance and fellow operators to keep production safe and efficient.

The role requires basic English proficiency, flexibility for day and night shifts, and a willingness to follow SOPs and 6S practices.

Qualifications

• Must have working-level knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Preferred: 2 years in warehouse/manufacturing, automation, or assembly.

Responsibilities

• Operate lithium‑ion battery cell production machines (inspection, conveyance).
• Start-up and run machines; identify simple faults.
• Deliver materials to production floor and monitor processes.
• Maintain shift logs and QC records.
• Communicate with Maintenance Technicians and teammates about issues.
• Follow SOPs and 6S standards; keep work area clean and safe.
