Job summary

State of Vermont is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join the Liquor Warehouse team. You will use a computerized Warehouse Management System (WMS) to safely pick, pack, and ship fragile liquor cases in a temperature-controlled environment.

Reporting to the Liquor Warehouse Supervisor, you will unload inbound pallets with a forklift or order picker, document breakage and shortages, and place stock in the correct locations.

Qualifications

• No educational requirements or prior experience needed.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Experience managing inventory or warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Use a computerized Warehouse Management System (WMS) to pick, pack, and ship fragile alcoholic beverage cases.
• Unload inbound pallets using a forklift or order picker; document breakage and shortages; place stock in correct locations.
• Pick and pack outbound orders with handheld scanners; perform split-case packing and labeling.
• Conduct staging audits to verify accuracy before loading; routinely lift and move 40–50 lb cases.
