Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring a front-line cashier to responsibly process member purchases, including liquor, lottery and tobacco sales, while providing courteous service and accurate checkout operations.

Responsibilities include scanning items, handling payments, staying compliant with age restrictions, and maintaining a clean, organized register area. The role supports store standards and member satisfaction daily.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills preferred.
• Prior cashier experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of all required training and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service and process member purchases, including liquor, lottery and tobacco sales.
• Scan merchandise, accept payments, issue receipts and make change.
• Maintain register area cleanliness and assist with stocking; follow asset protection guidelines and store policies.
• Support a safe, friendly, and inclusive member experience and help achieve GOLD club standards.
