Actalent is seeking a Packaging Engineer – Liquids to support packaging components and systems in a liquids manufacturing setting. You will manage packaging specs, BOMs, and change control while collaborating with vendors, production, and manufacturing engineering to ensure GMP-compliant packaging for liquid products.

Ideal candidates have packaging engineering or packaging science background, experience with liquids packaging, and strong documentation skills to support regulatory and quality

• Experience in GMP environments and packaging Engineering.
• Strong documentation and BOM management capabilities.
• Ability to manage packaging specifications and change control processes.
• Experience with liquids packaging and interface with manufacturing equipment.
• Excellent cross-functional communication with vendors and internal teams.

• Support packaging components used in liquids manufacturing, ensuring quality and operational standards.
• Develop understanding of how packaging interfaces with equipment and production lines.
• Evaluate packaging design, molding, manufacture, and assembly for liquids products.
• Own and maintain packaging specifications and BOMs for assigned products.
• Manage packaging documentation with attention to accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Support packaging lifecycle activities including changes and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with vendors to improve components and maintain relationships.
• Source and evaluate packaging samples from production to verify performance.
• Communicate with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Ensure changes are documented and approved per change control and GMP processes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to support equipment installation and packaging compatibility.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in GMP environment.
