Job summary

Bank of China Limited, New York Branch seeks a detail-oriented analyst to assist the head of risk in overseeing liquidity and market risk management. You will support regulatory reporting, risk analysis, and funding strategy, ensuring alignment with risk appetite statements and governance.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in finance or quantitative fields, up to 1 year of experience, and familiarity with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required; Finance or quantitative majors preferred.
• 0–1 year of experience in finance or banking.
• Sound risk management knowledge across market risk and regulatory topics.
• Bilingual in Chinese is a plus.
• CFA or FRM certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and enhance liquidity risk and interest rate risk management practices.
• Identify, measure, monitor and mitigate liquidity risk and interest rate exposure.
• Assist asset liability management and optimize funding structure and strategy.
• Maintain liquidity risk management application and perform daily risk analysis.
• Monitor markets, regulatory changes, and Fed policy impacts on risk profiles.
• Prepare risk reports for committees and senior management.
• Deliver analysis and tools to meet regulatory monitoring requirements.
• Develop analytics for intraday liquidity, MRD metrics, and scenario analyses.
