Job summary

BNY is seeking a liquidity analytics professional to join the Corporate Treasury Liquidity Development Team in New York. You will develop quantitative insights to understand balance sheet behavior under stress and support decision-making across Treasury, Risk, and Finance.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in quantitative, analytics, or risk-related roles within a financial institution.
  • Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data analysis and model prototyping.
  • Experience with SQL and working with large, complex datasets.
  • Strong analytical thinking with ability to translate ambiguous requirements into clear analytical approaches.
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement liquidity analytics and modeling logic to support stress testing, forecasting, and balance sheet management.
  • Analyze deposit, funding, and asset behaviors under various stress scenarios, including runoff, attrition, and contingency assumptions.
  • Translate business requirements and regulatory expectations into clear modeling approaches and calculation logic.
  • Partner with engineering teams to implement models and data pipelines, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and transparency.
  • Communicate insights and model outputs to stakeholders, providing clear and actionable narratives.
