Job summary

Amphenol Corporation’s High Speed Products Group seeks a Product Development Engineer focused on liquid cooling for front-end I/O connectors powering AI/ML platforms. Lead design, CFD validation, and thermal testing to maximize performance and reliability in data center environments.

Responsibilities include cross-functional collaboration, project leadership, and direct engagement with customers to define requirements and ensure manufacturability and robust qualification.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of work experience in product development, preferably in thermal management or connector technologies.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience with Liquid Cooling and CFD.
• Proficient in CAD tools and thermal simulation software.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop liquid cooling plates for high-density front-end I/O connectors.
• Design microchannel structures, cold plate geometries, and flow paths for thermal efficiency.
• Select and integrate materials for reliable data center thermal transfer.
• Lead cross-functional projects from concept to production and track milestones.
• Engage with customers to understand requirements and ensure manufacturability.
