Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Technician Engineer to support test engineering efforts, develop and commission test solutions, and qualify fixtures and programs. You will help build testers and fixtures, ensuring production readiness with comprehensive documentation and training for test operations.

You will collaborate with Test Support and Manufacturing to improve yields, efficiency, and uptime, while balancing cost and coverage to optimize the test process.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; associate degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.
• Experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, and repair is advantageous in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Test Engineer in developing and commissioning test solutions and qualifying fixtures and programs.
• Delivers documentation and training for test solutions implemented.
• Assists in building and manufacturing testers, fixtures, and environmental tooling to meet customer expectations.
• Interfaces with Test Support and Manufacturing Operations to provide comprehensive documentation and production support.
• Monitors test yields, efficiency, intermittencies, and uptime; reports progress with targets for improvement.
• Works with Test Engineer to upgrade test processes balancing cost and coverage for optimization.
• Coordinates test readiness with weekly production schedules and Test Support staff.
