System Administrator L3 – Provide system administration and software support for field exploitation systems within the client program. Perform Linux and Windows system setup and management for both physical and virtual operating systems, including provisioning, configuration, patching, update management, and platform securing/hardening. Provide manual and automated system management across widely dispersed Linux systems and scale systems from 2 to 200 via virtualization. Manage an enterprise lab with multiple servers, SANs, NAS, client resources, and virtual machines. Administer and configure virtual machines and VM clusters. Communicate with software developers and other team members to gather requirements and implement solutions. Automate system administration tasks such as automatic patch installation. Research, evaluate, and recommend methods and products for protecting computer data and applications. Develop technical documentation including system architecture diagrams, configurations, baselines, and administrative procedures. Coordinate with developers to define operational security requirements, develop System Security Plans, and oversee system security accreditation and authorizations.
