Job summary

Radiance Technologies, an employee-owned contractor supporting NASIC, seeks a Linux System Administrator to install, configure and maintain Red Hat Linux systems in a classified environment. The role focuses on reliability, security and compliance for critical IT resources.

The successful candidate will manage PostgreSQL databases, perform backups, test updates, document procedures and implement performance tuning.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with SCI eligibility required.
• Experience installing PostgreSQL and performing backups.
• Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 9/10 in a classified environment.
• Security+ or higher certification preferred.
• Experience with PKI, Tomcat/Apache, and scripting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain Linux servers and network systems.
• Provide backup and recovery services; manage file systems and disk space.
• Test updates to enterprise system software to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact.

Radiance, supporting major Air Force programs in Dayton OH, is searching for an experienced Red Hat Linux System Administrator to support critical IT resources at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). The qualified candidate will provide maintenance, sustainment, and enhancement to the IT architecture in a classified environment; ensure compliance with applicable information assurance requirements; ensure 24/7 continuity of operations; and create and update relevant system documents.
