Job summary

IPsoft is looking for a dedicated Platform Engineer to support their IPcenter toolset. This role involves installing and configuring Linux hosts, managing virtualization solutions, and developing capacity plans using storage tools.

The ideal candidate should have over 3 years of experience in Linux/Unix administration, strong troubleshooting skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. A competitive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in a NOC environment is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure Linux hosts, generally Scientific Linux.
• Architect, deploy, and manage virtualization solutions.
• Develop capacity/datacenter plans using storage/backup tools.
• Work on cloud solutions and troubleshoot platform issues.
• Resolve escalations via ticketing system, emails, and phone calls.
