Job summary

InfiCare Staffing in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a senior Linux Administrator for an onsite role starting Day 1. The position requires extensive IT experience with deep Linux administration, RHEL 8 proficiency, and strong scripting (Bash, Python, Perl) with Ansible automation.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot Linux systems, tune performance, and manage networking, security hardening (SELinux, patching) and AWS services (EC2, EBS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch). ITIL/ServiceNow experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in Linux administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with RHEL 8.
• Scripting in Bash, Python or Perl and Ansible automation.
• Strong Linux troubleshooting, performance tuning, and networking.
• Experience with Linux security, hardening, SELinux, patching and compliance.
• AWS experience including EC2, EBS, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of Systemd, LVM, XFS/EXT4, TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, and NFS.
• Familiar with ITIL processes and ServiceNow (Incident, Change, Problem, CMDB).
