Job summary

A leading IT services company in Houston is seeking a Linux Infrastructure Lead to manage and enhance hybrid IT operations for both commercial and government sectors. The role requires extensive knowledge of Linux and its infrastructure, with responsibilities including leading a team, ensuring security compliance, and designing scalable solutions. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of IT infrastructure experience and at least 3 years in a leadership role. Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT infrastructure experience.
• At least 3 years in a leadership or senior engineering role.
• Familiarity with Azure or other cloud environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing infrastructure team.
• Oversee daily operations of Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and NetApp.
• Ensure systems meet compliance requirements.
• Design scalable solutions for classified systems.
• Coordinate infrastructure upgrades and disaster recovery testing.
