Job summary

NCS Technologies, Inc. in Manassas, VA is seeking a Computer Integration Specialist to join the Engineering team. The CIS will help build and integrate prototype hardware and develop test scripts under Linux to support our compute and storage server products.

The role requires hands-on experience with environmental MIL-STD testing, documentation of test procedures, and the ability to respond to diverse customer testing requirements. This is an on-site, full-time position with potential travel.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience developing Linux test scripts.
• Experience with hardware stress test applications and scripts.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD environmental standards and related test equipment.
• Experience building, integrating servers, storage, and switches.
• Ability to document build and test instructions and reports.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site full-time.

Responsibilities

• Develop Linux test scripts to run diagnostics and stress hardware.
• Gain knowledge of MIL-STD standards relevant to compute, storage, and networking.
• Compile EQT test reports using automated tools.
• Build, integrate, and test prototypes and first articles.
• Test, benchmark, evaluate hardware and software for potential adoption.
• Capture, store, and deploy disk images of software loads.
