Job summary

Rothe is seeking a hands-on Linux Administrator with strong GitLab administration experience to operate, secure, and evolve enterprise platforms supporting NASA JSC’s mission-enabling applications.

You will administer, secure, and maintain Linux-based systems, manage GitLab infrastructure including upgrades, CI/CD pipelines, runners, and integrations. This on-site role requires presence in Houston, TX and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Linux systems administration experience.
• Experience managing GitLab in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency with automation tools (Ansible/Terraform).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts, pipelines, and runners.
• Experience with security hardening and compliance requirements.
• Must be able to attain and maintain a NASA Level of Confidence (LoC) of 50, which is based on identity proofing, background checks, and investigation.

Position Overview
