Job summary

Everforth Apex seeks a Linux Automation Administrator in Linthicum, MD to support a federal program. You will manage RHEL/Ubuntu on secure networks, develop Ansible Playbooks, and oversee Kubernetes workloads while ensuring DISA STIG/NIST controls compliance.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance, CompTIA Security+, and strong communication skills. On-site coverage is from 0600–1800 with core hours 0930–1430.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience or a Master’s degree and 3 years of experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance and CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provision, manage, and support RHEL and Ubuntu servers across networks.
• Develop, utilize, and maintain Ansible Playbooks to secure and configure Linux servers.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and workloads.
• Configure connected services like network adapters, storage, and firewalls.
• Deploy and monitor capabilities to detect anomalies or disruptions.
• Investigate disruptions and provide root cause analyses.
• Support deployments of new hardware and software.
