Job summary

SOS International, LLC (SOSi) seeks qualified linguist translators across the US for processing material from government investigations. Responsibilities include translating, transcribing, and summarizing source materials, with emphasis on accuracy and adherence to court and government requirements.

Candidates should have strong English language command, four years of related experience, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent training and education.
• A minimum of four (4) years combined work and educational experience in translating, interpreting, or other work requiring English and another language.
• Proficiency testing at minimum level 3 in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring, translating, transcribing, interpreting, performing quality control and validating services.
• Providing reliable transcriptions/translations/summaries of source materials into English.
• Transcribe or translate source materials and perform quality control on others' work.
• Attend training on equipment and software used by the client, as authorized.
