Job summary

Yellowjacket Oilfield Services, LLC seeks a field operations specialist to support Wellbore Construction, Completions and Liner Hanger activities. The role includes on-site tool handling, data entry, and client-facing tasks to ensure service quality and timely invoicing.

The candidate should have 1–2 years of similar experience, strong mechanical/electrical/hydraulic fundamentals, and comfort working directly with customers in a field setting. This is a full-time on-site position in Alaska.

Qualifications

• Hands-on field experience with Wellbore Construction, Completions or Liner Hanger ops.
• Ability to run tools independently in low- to medium-risk applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and decision-making at the wellsite.

Responsibilities

• Running multiple low- to medium-risk applications in Wellbore Construction, Completions, and Liner Hangers.

• Job planning, tool prep, mobilization, execution and submitting job data for invoicing on time.
• Testing and maintaining tools per work instructions and safety procedures.
• Managing inventory and supplies at the well site.
• Handling special projects as assigned.

Description

• Running multiple low- to medium-risk applications in one or more product lines within Wellbore Construction, Completions, and Liner Hangers


• Ensuring supplied equipment is compatible with all other equipment used for the job


• Providing front-line customer support and completing all job-related paperwork accurately


• Using experience and application knowledge to ensure products and services meet the highest quality standards


• Conducting on-the-job training for selected Wellbore Construction/Completions applications


• Monitor and analyze data to recommend services and solutions


• Performs job planning, preparation of tools & equipment, mobilization, job execution and submits all job-related data, not limited to job reports, WPTS data entry, observation cards while on-site, service tickets or logs with the required signatory, and any other documents required to successfully invoice the client within an acceptable time


• Tests operates & maintains tools & equipment as per work instructions, according to policies & procedures in safe and presentable working conditions against their level of training & competence


• Effectively manage inventory and supplies required at the well site


• Handling special projects as assigned

Requirements

• Bring hands-on experience in Wellbore Construction, Completions, or Liner Hanger operations


• Be confident running tools independently in low- to medium-risk applications


• Have strong troubleshooting instincts and the ability to make sound decisions at the wellsite


• Be comfortable working directly with customers and representing Yellowjacket in the field


• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role


• Fundamentals of Mechanics, Electricity, Electronics, Pneumatics and/or Hydraulics


• Oil & Gas experience preferred
