ImageFIRST is seeking a Linen Tech at Truman Hospital to deliver and manage clean linen carts, record inventory, and ensure PAR levels across departments. This role supports patient care by maintaining supply availability and accurate billing records.

The position offers evening shifts, Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with opportunities to interact with hospital staff and maintain an organized inventory environment. Weekly pay and standard benefits apply.

• Must be able to consistently lift 35 pounds.
• Should possess a sense of direction/knowledge of area.

Responsibilities

• Manage in-house inventory levels in each department.
• Exchange carts and ensure par levels on the cart and bring them back up to par level before delivering them.
• Record data utilizing tablets or order sheets.
• Interface professionally with hospital staff including nurses, managers and central supply.
• Build and stock unit carts and ensure par levels are maintained.
• Maintain the inventory room and keep it clean and organized.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

The primary purpose of Linen Tech position is to deliver clean linen carts to the floor, potentially picking up dirty linen and ensuring that inventory levels are sufficient. All linen must then be recorded for billing and accountability.

Pay:$17.00

Location: Truman Hospital

Shift: Monday - Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage in-house inventory levels in each departments
• Exchange carts-Count all linen on the carts and bring them back up to the par level before delivering them-On incoming carts, ensure that the par levels are on the cart and take them to their distribution point.
• Floor carts:-Load inventory on carts to be distributed to the units-Count all linen on unit carts and replace items to correct PAR levels-Sign off on the unit cart checklist-Record data utilizing the appropriate method (i.e. tablets, order sheets)
• Interface professionally and effectively with people at the hospital; nurses, nurse managers, clinicians, Central Supply, Materials Manager and the Environmental Service Department.
• During the day with exchange carts-First thing go to the floors with the full, clean carts and bring down the carts that were used the day before.-Return to the locations and make all the counts for the areas that don’t have their own carts, inventory them, fill the order and take them back up to the floor.-Fill up both carts and take them up there and re‑stock to par level.
• During the day without exchange carts-First thing build carts to take to units to rebuild unit carts-Count all linen on unit carts and replace items to the correct PAR levels-Record this data as mentioned above.
• Maintain the orderliness and cleanliness of the inventory room at all times. This would include in some cases dust and wet moping the floors
• Handle all routine duties and special calls for linen
• Problems – running out of Linen – someone goes above usage, - contact Service Manager if linen supplies not sufficient in the inventory room.
• Converse with driver – see if there are any special needs. Spend considerable time with the account rep – collaborate on issues, inventory levels.
• Well represent our Company as well as the client’s Company – exhibiting sound values.
• Must be able to build and maintain solid professional relationships.
