Primary Function:

Ensure the safe, timely, and efficient completion of linen distribution duties, including delivery, collection, inventory management, and maintaining organized linen storage areas.

Responsibilities:

Follow instructions from the Linen Distribution Manager (LDM), manage linen inventory levels, record data accurately, handle both clean and soiled linen, and respond professionally to customer service calls. Observe and report linen misuse or abuse. Transport carts safely and keep storage areas tidy.

Additional Duties:

Perform any other assigned tasks as necessary and work effectively with linen in accordance with policies.

Decision-Making:

Determine quantities and schedules for linen delivery based on operational needs.

Active role involving walking up to 5 miles daily, lifting up to 10 pounds, pushing/pulling carts weighing up to 70 pounds, and handling soiled textiles safely. Flexibility to perform other shift duties as needed.
