Job summary

HHS is seeking a dependable Linen Technician to support the housekeeping team at Bon Secours West Hospital. You will process, distribute, and collect linen to maintain a safe, clean, and healing environment for patients.

Responsibilities include delivering on par linen carts, recording usage, and ensuring inventory accuracy while upholding quality standards. Flexible shifts and a collaborative team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.
• Preferred: Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, healthcare, laundry)

Responsibilities

• Fill and deliver clean linen carts daily to established par levels and record data.
• Collect soiled linen and deliver it to a designated pick-up area.
• Record linen usage and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure linen quality is satisfactory, and report any quality issues.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of assigned areas.
• Follow all HHS linen procedures and best practices.
• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.
