Novant Health is seeking a dedicated Linen Distribution Associate in Winston-Salem, NC. You will deliver clean linen and scrubs, stock linen rooms, and track inventory using handheld devices or forms.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and the ability to push/pull carts up to 1,000 pounds, while maintaining clean storage areas. The position emphasizes strong communication with clinical teams, reliability in meeting department requests, and adherence to safety protocols in a hospital

Formación

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Linen distribution or laundry production experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull carts up to 1,000 pounds.
• Comfortable working with clinical departments.

What You'll Do

• Deliver clean linen and scrubs and collect soiled linen for processing.

Physical requirements

Frequent walking throughout the hospital, along with lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stretching, and prolonged standing.

What We're Looking For

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED, required

Experience:

• Linen distribution or laundry production experience, preferred

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working directly with clinical departments
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks during the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 1,000 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, stretch, and stoop throughout the shift

Preferred Skills:

• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel)
