Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will help ensure clean, available supplies for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, folding, distributing laundry, operating equipment safely, keeping records, and following infection-control policies while delivering friendly service to residents and teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies for a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
