Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Linen Distribution Associate to restock carts and manage linen flow across routes. You will count items, remove damaged stock, and maintain clean, organized carts while supporting clinical teams.

The role requires dependable, detail-focused individuals with basic computer skills and English communication. The position offers a day-weekend schedule and benefits from day one, including health and retirement options.

• Linen Distribution experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Restocks linen carts on assigned routes within the time frame using approved equipment and accurately counts items.
• Removes torn, unfolded, or soiled linen from carts.
• Checks for and changes reject linen bags and ensures adequate supply of soiled linen bag boxes.
• Straightens remaining linen in preparation for restocking.
• Patrols work area, picks up strings and dropped linen, and places items in proper containers.
• Delivers empty linen carts to designated areas.
• Reports linen shortages or issues to the supervisor as requested by clinical staff or hospital management.
• Collects and handles soiled linen bags and delivers them to designated areas in a timely and professional manner.
• Maneuvers large bins and linen carts safely and professionally.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
