The Linen Service Attendant performs all activities related to the retrieval of soiled linen, processing of linen, and distribution of clean linen.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following are the general responsibilities of this position. They are not exhaustive, and other duties may be assigned:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to stand, walk, and handle linens for prolonged periods; lift up to 50 pounds; push carts weighing up to 600 pounds.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Ability to work in hot, humid, and noisy environments, performing repetitive tasks as directed.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Skills in operating computerized laundry equipment and math skills for inventory and cart stocking are preferred.
