Job summary

Crown Health Care Laundry Services, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator to rotate through Soil and Clean areas, learning to handle linens from receipt to loading and operating multiple production machines in a fast-paced plant.

You will be assigned based on production needs, complete a short learning curve, and work with a team to meet quality standards, with opportunities to move between jobs as required. High School or GED preferred; strong teamwork required; on-site in South Carolina.

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED preferred.
• Excellent teamwork skills required.
• Employees must be willing to move between all jobs via rotation when needed.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through various production positions to support receiving, sorting, washing, drying, ironing and loading of linens.
• Learn to operate production equipment as needed and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Open customer returned soil bags and sort into classifications; move carts and assist with loading and unloading.
• Handle folding, stacking and cart preparation in Hand Fold area and operate the ironer and conveyor safely.
• Assist Shipping Clerk with weighing and documenting finished carts and maintaining records.
