Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Lubbock, TX, is seeking a Bag Handler (Non-Exempt) to load, sort, and move soiled linens across production areas. You will assist with sort/count tasks and transfer items between departments while maintaining efficiency and safety standards.

Applicants must be able to stand, lift up to 100 lbs, and follow directions. The role offers a production laundry environment with varied shifts and regular responsibilities in cart and bin cleaning.

Qualifications

• Recognize colors and sizes and count accurately.
• Meet the physical requirements of the job (standing, walking, lifting).
• Recognize colors, sizes, and different products and handle them correctly.
• Comprehend and follow directions provided by supervision.

Responsibilities

• Load bags of soiled linen onto rail/conveyor systems.
• Transfer slings/bags/carts to other departments as needed.
• Assist sort/count workstations and meet efficiency standards.
• Follow safety policies and maintain clean work areas.
