Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and push/pull a heavy cart.
• Able to count and record linen inventory.
• Excellent problem solving and customer service skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced health care environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers clean linen to hospital departments.
• Picks up soiled carts on second shift.
• Takes and fills orders from hospital staff.
• Ensures exchange carts are delivered to floors.
• Ensures soil linen is picked up and taken to the receiving dock.
• Ensures soil carts are full; plans for consolidation.
• Reports issues to supervisor immediately.
• Keeps the linen room neat and organized at shift end.
• Builds clean, organized carts to maintain par level.
• Aligns and stages carts as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
