Job summary

Crothall Laundry Services is seeking a Linen Transporter at Roper Hospital - Downtown Hospital for night shifts. You will ensure linen carts are stocked, pull/push heavy loads, and record inventory of linen.

You must be able to lift 50 lbs and move carts up to 650 lbs, with availability for weekends and holidays. Responsibilities include delivering clean linen to departments, picking up soiled carts, and maintaining a clean, organized linen room while following safety procedures and attendance

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and push/pull a wheeled cart of 650 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and possibly holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build clean, neat carts at standard par level.
• Deliver clean linen to hospital departments.
• Pickup soiled carts from all floors.
• Take and fill orders from hospital staff.
• Maintain linen room cleanliness and organization.
• Open new linen for processing.
• Align and stage carts as needed.
• Follow safety and universal precautions.
