Job summary

Biltmore is seeking a driver to deliver clean linens to estate locations and pick up inbound items for the laundry, ensuring timely delivery to hotels and F&B facilities. The role includes tracking, inventory, quality inspection, packaging, and occasional laundry assistance in the central facility.

The schedule typically runs 5am–1:30pm, Thursday–Wednesday, with weekend availability required. Employee safety and professionalism are emphasized, and cross-training on laundry tasks is available.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years or older.
• High school diploma preferred, but not required.
• At least six months of driver experience with a commercial delivery provider.
• Ability to operate commercial laundry machinery and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to multi-task, organize, plan, and prioritize.
• Exercise good judgment and take initiative.
• Work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proven commitment to delivering world class customer service.
• Basic English language comprehension, writing, and speaking.
• Ability to follow directions and instructions.
• Ability to operate a commercial vehicle with automatic or standard transmission.

Responsibilities

• Count items for the day and inventory outgoing items.
• Maintain receipts, tracking, and inventory for deliveries, pick-ups, and damage/loss.
• Maintain positive relationships with internal and external vendors and guests; plan for departmental needs.
• Inspect for quality control according to established standards.
• Sort and store soiled linen; weigh linen and place into carts.
• Sort and separate damaged or stained linen for repair or reuse.
• Observe safety rules and maintain a safe environment.
• Contribute to a team effort and accomplish related results.
• Cross train on laundry tasks and perform related duties.
• Maintain facility, linen carts and supplies in a neat and organized manner.
• Complete administrative work related to receipt, processing, delivery, inspections.
• Provide a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
