PACS is seeking a Laundry Attendant to ensure clean linen supply for residents and support housekeeping operations. The role involves collecting, sorting, washing, and delivering laundry, while maintaining sanitary procedures and inventory.

Experience is preferred but not required; a GED or HS diploma is commonly sufficient. This on-site position emphasizes safety and reliability in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required
• 1 year of experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand directions related to laundry/housekeeping procedures
• Basic math skills required

Responsibilities

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for residents.
• Maintain linen in good repair and remove damaged items.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
• Label new resident clothing as needed
• Sort, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms
• Follow all sanitary processes and procedures related to laundry duties
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies
• Use laundry equipment in a safe manner
• Report equipment issues to the Administrator
