Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction, LLC is seeking a Lineman II Telecom to install and repair fiber and telecom lines, ensuring safe, reliable service for customers. The role requires operating bucket trucks, digger derricks, and excavators while maintaining safe work zones.

Candidates must have at least three years of Lineman experience, a valid driver’s license, and ideally a CDL or willingness to obtain one. Travel for storm response may be required.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record (not Provisional).
• Valid state CDL license and/or willingness to obtain it.
• Minimum of three years of Lineman experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair complex fiber/telecom cables and materials, promptly repair issues to ensure reliable service.
• Safely operate equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derricks, and excavators.
• Safely use hand and power tools (wrenches, drills, saws).
• Maintain safe work areas to keep traffic flowing on site.
• Work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders safely.
• Provide guidance and support to teammates as needed.
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.
• Other duties as assigned.
