Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction LLC is seeking a Lineman II Telecom to install and repair fiber and telecom lines, ensuring safe and reliable service. You will operate equipment such as bucket trucks and digger derricks, work at heights, and support crew members in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a valid CDL or willingness to obtain one, a current driver’s license, and a minimum of three years Lineman experience. Travel for storm response on short notice is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Authorized to work in the United States
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Valid state CDL license and/or willingness to obtain
• Minimum of three years Lineman experience

Responsibilities

• Install and repair complex fiber/telecom cables and materials
• Safely operate bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators
• Use hand and power tools safely
• Maintain safe work areas and traffic flow
• Work safely at heights with climbing hooks & ladders
• Provide guidance and support to others
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice
• Other duties as assigned
