Ervin Cable Construction, LLC is hiring a Lineman II Telecom in Henderson, Nevada to install and repair fiber and telecom lines, ensuring safe, reliable service for customers. You will operate bucket trucks and other heavy equipment, work at heights, and travel on short notice for storm response while maintaining strict safety practices.

This role offers a wage range of $19.00–$22.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent; relevant field experience acceptable.
• Valid state driver's license with clean driving record.
• Valid CDL license; willingness to obtain CDL if not held.
• Minimum of three years’ lineman experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair fiber/telecom cables and equipment for reliable service.
• Safely operate bucket truck, digger derrick, and excavators.
• Use hand and power tools to install and maintain lines.
• Keep work areas safe and manage traffic around job sites.
• Work at heights using hooks and ladders; follow safety protocols.
• Provide guidance and support to teammates as needed.
• Be available for storm response on short notice.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Install and repair complex fiber/telecom cables and materials, promptly repair any issues to ensure efficient and reliable service
• Safely use equipment like bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws
• Maintain safe work areas so that traffic flows smoothly while on the job
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Valid state CDL license and/or willingness to obtain it
• A minimum of three years of relevant Lineman experience

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level at heights, in confined spaces and in remote locations, climb stairs, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk and lift up to 55 pounds, operate vehicle & heavy machinery
• Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse

The wage range for Lineman II Telecom is $19.00 - $22.00.
