Job summary

Triple-D Communications, LLC is hiring a Lineman I Telecom in Ozark, AR. You will assist with installing fiber and telecom cables overhead, perform repairs, and maintain safe work areas. The role requires you to climb, use ladders, and travel for storm response as needed.

We value hands-on training and offer a pathway to grow within telecom. You must be 18+, legally eligible to work in the U.S., and hold a valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record
• Construction experience desired, preferably telecom

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of fiber and telecom cables overhead and repair issues
• Safely use hand and power tools (wrenches, drills, saws)
• Maintain safe work areas to ensure smooth traffic flow on site
• Climb heights using hooks and ladders
• Be prepared to travel for storm response on short notice
• Carry out other duties as assigned

What you’ll do

• Assist with the installation of fiber and telecom cables overhead, and promptly repair any issues to ensure efficient and reliable service
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws
• Maintain safe work areas so that traffic flows smoothly while on the job
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Previous Construction experience desired, preferably within the telecommunications industry

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level at heights, in confined spaces and in remote locations, climb stairs, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk and lift up to 55 pounds, operate vehicle & heavy machinery
• Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse
