Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro in Illinois is seeking a CDL-A driver to transport goods from the warehouse to customer locations by tractor-trailer, ensuring timely deliveries while following safety and food-safety protocols.

You will operate large vehicles, handle loading/unloading, complete required paperwork, and maintain strong customer relationships. The role involves night driving and some out-of-state routes, with emphasis on DOT compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; tractor-trailer driving experience preferred or completion of a driving school.
• Valid Class A CDL and insurability.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety practices, and proper lifting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Transporting and delivering products, loading and unloading per customer specifications
• Completing all required paperwork, logs, and inspection reports accurately and timely
• Maintaining proper food safety standards during delivery
• Operating equipment safely, including pallets, load bars, and onboard computers
• Providing excellent customer service, establishing good relationships, and communicating effectivelywith management on route or delivery issues
• Working flexible hours, including some night driving and out-of-state routes
