Job summary

Independent-Case-Management-Inc seeks a Line Therapist to work directly with children with autism in the clients' homes in Batesville, AR. You will implement ITP-based strategies and record data to track progress under supervision.

In this role, you will follow a rotating schedule, and participate in activities such as arts and crafts, socialization, circle time, and community outings, with a flexible evening/weekend availability and a commitment to data-driven care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience working directly with children or children with autism.
• Must be comfortable working with children.
• Flexible schedule and be willing to work evenings and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children who have autism in their home.
• Implement evidence-based intervention strategies as outlined by the client's ITP.
• Record data according to the ITP.
• Report issues or concerns to the supervisor and to the Interventionist.
• Follow the rotation and/or individualized schedule; daily activities include: PRT, DTI, arts and crafts, cooperative play, breaks outside activities, community outings, functional toy play, story time, circle time, socialization, manipulatives, puzzles, meals, free play, self-help skills.
• Weekly: work 20–25 hours per week in the customer's home; work toward all program goals on the customer's data form during each session unless specified otherwise by Lead Therapist/Interventionist.

Job description

The Line Therapist is responsible for working directly with children who have autism in their home. Implementing evidence-based intervention strategies as outlined by the client's Individual Treatment Plan (ITP). Records data according to the ITP. Reports issues and/or concerns relating to family, customer, or team to the supervisor and reports progress and/or concerns to the Interventionist.

Daily Requirements:

Follow the rotation and/or individualized schedule. The rotation may include:

• PRT, DTI, arts and crafts, cooperative play, breaks outside activities, community outings, functional toy play, story time, circle time, socialization, manipulatives, puzzles, meals, free play, self-help skills

Weekly Requirements:

• Work between 20 and 25 hours per week in the customer's home.
• Work towards all program goals on the customer's data form during each session unless otherwise specified by the Lead Therapist and/or Interventionist

Qualifications

Experience

Required

High School diploma or GED.

Minimum of two (2) years' experience working directly with children or children with autism

Must be comfortable working with children

Flexible schedule and be willing to work evenings and/or weekends

Preferred

Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is recommended, but not required
