Job summary

Magna International is seeking a Material Handler - Line Support in Liberty, MO to keep production lines supplied with materials. The role requires basic forklift operation, inventory accuracy, and adherence to FIFO workflows.

Starting pay is $24.50/hr with benefits day one; schedule is Monday–Thursday with potential overtime, and location is Liberty, MO. Responsibilities include stocking materials, verifying barcodes, maintaining stock levels, and supporting continuous improvement of material

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in material handling, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to obtain licenses for forklifts, tow tractors, and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow written work instructions.
• Ability to work effectively with others in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail with inventory, labeling, and material accuracy.
• Ability to meet production requirements and maintain timely material deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Supply production lines with materials and parts to maintain production.
• Organize and stock materials using FIFO practices.
• Follow established material delivery routes and work instructions.
• Move materials to designated stock locations and maintain inventory transactions.
• Verify parts and containers are labeled with correct barcodes.
• Inspect incoming/outgoing materials for quantity, quality, and racking.
• Count, label, and return unused materials to stock areas.
• Construct boxes/containers used for production parts.
• Operate forklifts, tow tractors, and other material handling equipment after certification.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Support continuous improvement of material flow and workplace organization.
