Job summary

Trinity Plastics Inc. seeks a Material Handler C to efficiently bring supplies to production lines and keep finished skids organized and moving. The role requires basic math and familiarity with film, chip and corrugated codes, plus the ability to operate trucks for pre-shift inspections.

Candidate must be reliable with good communication skills and willing to work non-standard hours in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Heat exposure and physical movement are routine parts of the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work non-standard hours.
• Ability to handle job-related stress and maintain a productive tone.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with company policies and safety guidelines.
• Become familiar with film, chip and corrugated codes.
• Must show basic familiarity with truck operations.
• Complete a pre-shift truck inspection, as well as complete P.M. checklist daily.
• Know the proper placement of all finished product.
• Basic math skills to accurately order material needed for change-overs.
• Weight scrap gaylords at the end of the shift or at any change-overs.
• Understands the difference between A, B, Peco and Chep pallets
• Follows established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP's), cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures
• Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour
• Stooping/Bending, Kneeling, Standing for long periods of time
