Job summary

Atlantic Aviation at OMA in Omaha, NE is seeking a Line Service Technician to join our ground support team. You will fuel/defuel aircraft, marshal signals, tow aircraft, and handle lavatory and potable water services while delivering friendly, professional customer service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, be 18+, hold a valid driver’s license, and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and receive fuel to and from company tanks, vendor trucks, and aircraft.

• Assist customers with scheduling and fueling.
• Support aircraft turning, loading, and unloading.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized facilities.
• Assist with daily/weekly safety inspections and audits.
• Occasionally travel to support other Atlantic locations.

Line Service Technician Responsibilities

• Deliver and receive fuel to and from company tanks, vendor trucks, and aircraft.
• Operate all company ground support equipment as requested or required, including lavatory and water service carts, ground power unit, deice truck, etc.
• Perform ground marshalling using standard aviation signals.
• Perform customer service activities such as helping customers with aircraft scheduling and fueling.
• Assist with aircraft turning, loading, and unloading.
• Ensure all buildings and grounds are safe, clean, and organized.
• Conduct or assists with daily/weekly onsite safety inspections and audits of equipment and facility operations.
• Occasional travel may be required to support another Atlantic location.
• You may be occasionally assigned to another Atlantic location based on geographical proximity as business needs require.

Line Service Technician Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• 18 years of age
• Avalid state driver’s license
• Be comfortable and physically able to work in an environment with frequent walking, stretching, bending, sitting, stooping, reaching, grasping, and climbing.
• Be physically able to perform heavy lifting on a regular basis up to 50 lbs.
