Atlantic Aviation at Bakersfield (BFL) is seeking a Line Service Technician to provide essential ground support for aircraft, including fueling/defueling, baggage handling, towing, marshalling, lavatory and potable water service, and operation of ground support equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of 18 years old, a valid driver’s license, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The position involves outdoor work, possible overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver and receive fuel to and from aircraft and tanks.
• Operate ground support equipment as required (lavatory and water service carts, GPU, deice truck, etc.).
• Perform ground marshalling using standard aviation signals.
• Assist with aircraft turning, loading, and unloading.
• Ensure buildings and grounds are safe, clean, and organized.
• Conduct daily/weekly onsite safety inspections of equipment and facilities.
• Occasional travel to support another Atlantic location.
• May be assigned to another Atlantic location based on business needs.

• Perform ground marshalling using standard aviation signals.
• Perform customer service activities such as helping customers with aircraft scheduling and fueling.
• Assist with aircraft turning, loading, and unloading.
• Ensure all buildings and grounds are safe, clean, and organized.
• Conduct or assists with daily/weekly onsite safety inspections and audits of equipment and facility operations.
• Occasional travel may be required to support another Atlantic location.
• You may be occasionally assigned to another Atlantic location based on geographical proximity as business needs require.
