Job summary

Vantage Aviation in Greenville, SC is seeking a Line Services Technician to support ground operations for arriving and departing aircraft. The role emphasizes safe, efficient, and professional service to flight crews and passengers as part of our FBO services.

Responsibilities include fueling, ramp operations, and ensuring quality control, with a focus on accuracy, customer service, and adherence to safety procedures. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
• Strong basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet, marshal, park, tow, and move aircraft in the ramp area.
• Fuel and defuel aircraft in accordance with company and safety procedures.
• Provide ground power and aircraft oil servicing, along with other standard ancillary aircraft services such as lavatory support.
• Assist passengers and flight crews with baggage and cargo handling.
• Operate and reposition passenger and crew vehicles as required.
• Perform routine quality control inspections of refueler vehicles.
• Reload and maintain fuel vehicles and complete all required documentation.
• Ensure accurate record keeping related to fueling and line service activities.
• Deliver excellent customer service with attention to detail and professionalism.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and grounds, including building upkeep, lawn care, and snow removal as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Line Services Technician provides ground support to arriving and departing aircraft while delivering safe, efficient, and professional service to flight crews and passengers. This role is responsible for daily line service operations, including aircraft fueling, ramp operations, and customer service in support of Vantage Aviation’s Fixed Base Operator (FBO) services.

• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including possible inclement weather conditions
• Exposure to aircraft noise, fuel, and ramp activity
• Ability to lift, carry, pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to lift, carry, and move baggage or equipment as required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb a ladder, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
