Fox News Media is seeking a Line Producer for Fox & Friends to translate editorial vision into an organized rundown and oversee live on-air production. You’ll build rundowns, make timing decisions, edit copies, produce opens/teases, and coordinate with anchors and executives.

The role requires assertiveness, attention to detail, exceptional judgment, and strong communication. You’ll lead a team in a fast-paced breaking-news environment and adapt quickly as stories evolve.

• Monitor the aesthetics of the screen to make sure visuals support the conversation.
• Effectively manage your own time and attention; prioritize and delegate tasks when necessary.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Line Producer to join the Fox & Friends team. As a Line Producer on Fox & Friends, your main daily responsibility will be translating the editorial vision for the show into an organized rundown and overseeing its live production on air. This includes building the rundown, making timing decisions, copy-editing segments, producing opens and teases, and communicating directly with anchors and executives.

The Line Producer for Fox & Friends must be assertive, detail-oriented, and a natural self-starter who is not afraid to take control and lead a team. You should also have outstanding judgment, organizational skills, and creativity in teases and scripts. Most of all, you must be an effective communicator who can serve as the main point of contact for producers, directors, and talent/crew in the field. As the Line Producer, you can have your entire show planned, but at the very last minute, you can throw out your rundown and remain calm for breaking news. The Fox & Friends Line Producer should be flexible and able to adjust on the fly in breaking news situations.

Sunday-Thursday, 1:00 AM, ET - 10:00 AM, ET

• A Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $83,000.00-103,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
