Job summary

redBERRY is seeking a line/prep cook for its Troy, OH location to help prepare breakfast and lunch classics at a fast pace. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with preferred prior kitchen experience and the ability to work well under pressure.

Full-time and part-time positions are available, with weekend availability a must. Responsibilities include measuring and preparing ingredients, cooking techniques, plating, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare appetizing meals according to recipes.
• Weigh, measure, mix and prep ingredients as per recipes.
• Handle steaming, grilling, boiling, baking and frying as needed.
• Check all ingredients for freshness and quality.
• Plate and garnish dishes to be visually appealing.
• Keep kitchen and equipment clean and organized.
• Assist teammates with washing dishes and other duties.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and we previous experience is preferred. You must work well under pressure and within time limits and have a strong commitment toward making every customer experience at redBERRY a memorable one. (In a good way, of course!)

The key responsibilities will be:

• - Preparing remarkably appetizing and tasting meals.
• - Weighing, measuring, mixing and prepping ingredients according to our one-of-a-kind recipes.
• - Steaming, grilling, boiling, baking and frying like a boss!
• - Checking all food and ingredients for freshness.
• - Arranging and garnishing dishes that are pleasing to the eye.
• - Ensuring that the kitchen area, as well as equipment and utensils are clean and organized.
• - Assisting teammates with washing dishes and other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
