Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation. The role supports safe patient transfer and requires current rotorcraft certification, instrument rating, and extensive flight hours.

On‑duty housing and a 7/7 schedule are offered along with sign‑on and retention bonuses. Responsibilities include coordinating with dispatch and crews, maintaining aircraft readiness, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating and Class II Medical Certificate
• Minimum 2,000 total flight hours with 1,500 helicopter hours
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours and 500 turbine helicopter hours
• Night flight experience required: 100 hours unaided or 50 unaided +100 aided

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a medical team to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per manuals, FARs and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements
• Maintain accurate regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training
