Job summary

Magnera Corporation is seeking a dedicated Operator to run extrusion lines, ensure product quality, and uphold safety standards. You will train line personnel on SOPs, manage packaging and labeling, and respond to lab data and defects.

The role requires a High School Diploma, basic math skills, English proficiency, and forklift operation. Expect a 12-hour shift with strong emphasis on safety and process adherence.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.
• Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply & divide).
• Must be able to read a tape measure or rule in both standard & metric.
• Must have ability to understand troubleshooting guides and cost of production.

Responsibilities

• Quality of the product on the line.
• Know the SOP of the product being run and train line personnel on SOP.
• Responsible for packaging and labeling of finished product prior to shipment.
• Respond to lab data and address visual defects (streaks, gels, edge cuts, cores).
• Ensure line teams follow ISO procedures.
• Safety: use PPE, emergency stop checklist, SWPs and line safety.
• Operate cast lines (Level 1-3) and move between lines as needed.
